My brain hurts.

So I asked my friend for something to translate, but everything she suggested sounded too hard.

This is what I’m doing instead. I’ll give you the Vralajii first. I bet you don’t guess what I’m translating!

Vre’en Yalyn, vreha iladj saduhk. Redeljiiha hyu kudak janom mlas.
Knoxle janomjiiha janom mlas.
Foxha lamynle horan mlas.

Here’s the literal translation back to English:

Second person aged plural Honored Unknown, you (subject) proceed (prefix makes adverb ‘carefully’ of to care). Story this danger holds probably.

Knox (object) holder (subject) holds probably.
Fox (subject) socks (object) wears probably.
Knox (object) fox (subordinate object) box (subject) socks (subordinate to subordinate object) fox-wears knox-rides holds probaby. (phew!)

And the English original?

Take it slowly. This book is dangerous.

Knox in box.
Fox in socks.
Knox on fox in socks in box.

Now you did know Dr. Seuss was classic literature, didn’t you?
