got off my duff (a teeny bit) to send a query to someone other than the agent from whom I’ve been waiting to hear.

“Not for me” response: blargh.
Looking through my rejection slips before getting an acceptance one: Ouch.
I’m trying to organize myself with who I’ve queried when. I’d write instead, but the kid is in Drama Mode, making concentration impossible.
For my own future reference: this sort of housekeeping should really be done on a pleasant evening, with a glass of sangria or similar in hand.
