I know it’s necessary. I can’t jump from one thing to the next with no break. Even if I didn’t have to save Hiro II for NaNo. (NaNoNaNoNaNoNaNoNaNo…) I’ve heard it all before, and I even believe it. You have to recharge; you have to let the muses rest.
Doesn’t mean I have to like it. I finished Hiro I on Sunday. I wanna jump into Hiro II! NOW!
I was going to cheat on the vacation and work on some unfinished fanfic or something, but I can’t. Hiro is what’s in my head.
Perhaps I should go poke at my notes. What did I name my people again?
I think vacations are for people who are doing actual work. Writing…just isn’t, most of the time.
