For Which I Am Grateful
My little girl is taller than I am. She’s strong and healthy and bright and compassionate and kind, even if she is often hard of hearing.
I have a good, stable job with benefits that is fulfilling in many ways, and gives me lots of time to pursue my writing career.
Within me there is a glorious joy, and all I have to do to tap it is put words in order.
My brother is a great guy, my sis-in-law is a dream, and my nephew is the most adorable child ever with the possible occasional exception of my own.
I have friends who will go to bat for me, who will help me without being asked, who will tell me when I’m being stupid, and then forgive me.
I have friends who will drive me around when my car has been broken down for months.
My home is lovely, and my cats are…cats. 
And I love them.
I am blessed. And I am very, very grateful.
