Garbage In, Garbage Out

January 25, 2007

I’m working on getting the rest of my old manuscript into the computer.

A lot of it, to be honest, stinks.  That’s not really surprising, as I wrote it a long time ago.  Before Hope was born.  Before I even met Chris, I think.

But, stinky or not, I’m putting it all in the computer.  The original was printed on a dot-matrix printer (remember those?) that desperately needed a new ribbon.  It’s nearly thirty pages of single-spaced, faded, 8-point type.  I have to get it in the computer while I can still see it.

Once it’s in, though…once it’s in, there’s gonna be a choppin’ and a re-writin’, yessiree.

Sorry.  Not sure what that was, or where it came from.  Perhaps it is a sign I should go to bed.

Yeah.  I think that’s what it is.  g’night.
