I’m almost afraid to say anything lest I break the spell, but look! I’m blogging in the morning. Before work. That’s because I’ve finally (knock on wood) got the habit of getting up before I absolutely positively must get up to get out the door anywhere close to on time (usually late.) The change actually came [...] So. Two weeks off from work. Of course there were holidays in there, so it wasn’t all my time (I like holidays. For about an hour. Maybe two, if I get good presents. Which I did. I showed you my pen–you oughtta see my squid!) Anyway. Holidays can be fun, but they get in the way [...] Or so I hope, anyway. The list is long, the vacation getting shorter by the minute. Something needs to work. So, in order of completion: morning coffee (hey, it’s a requirement) healthy breakfast (Yogurt Cheerios) PubYe rounds TSR rounds Blog (in progress) Watch for progress! Get dressed. No task, however small, is a gimme today. Cleaned out some long-overdue clutter. Didn’t manage to part [...] Figured something out–this is the hardest time of the year for me to be productive outside of work. So doesn’t it make sense to go easy on myself? Why yes. Yes, it does. Towards that end, the Joss-edit is on the back-burner till I have more energy and a friend or two get back to me with [...] Not so long ago, nearly all my major characters were white. Not that I’d planned it that way–it was the result of a singular lack of planning. I plead clueless–I was building a whole universe, and race is not something I was used to thinking about.
