Starting on day one, of course:

849 divided by 60 = 14.15 hours so far.

I think I need to buckle down a bit. Which is going to be hard, as I sort of accidentally volunteered to join a production of Alice in Wonderland at the marvelous Valley of the Moon.

Hey, I was looking for volunteer opportunities, because I do believe Obama’s got some good ideas, and I do believe the man can’t change everything by himself. So the kid and I will volunteer our time and skills (such as they are) to support a great cause, a wonderful place that brings much joy, that would quickly disappear without the support of…people like us.

That’d be crazy people, for the record. We like everyone we met tonight muchly.

I…made an icon?

Tonight I made an icon. I like it lots. I don’t usually choose to write on my person’s face, but I felt it fit this one. And the second line–I was looking for a font that looked like a scream, but this one actually works better. I ended up walking the line between art *snerks at idea of self as artist* and understanding, because I wanted to make the color just a shade away from his face–so nearly impossible to read. White worked, though, and the red background to the letters adds a touch of scream to it, I think.

My, don’t I sound all pretentious or something?

The person is Kuchiki Byakuya, from Kubo Tite’s marvelous Bleach. I don’t know if this is Kubo-san’s art, or fanart. I found it unattributed on Photobucket, and it demanded to be iconed.

AUGHMo progresses. I’m on…page five? Something like that.

Yeah, this is not going so well.

I knew it would be this way, though. Hiro is an utter mess, and besides, editing always starts like this. A whole lot of AUGH and why did I DO that? and hell, what did I mean to write instead of “the revenant bit of his hand” and Oh frak, did I start with a character waking up AGAIN?

So. Onward?
